Have you ever wondered how it must be growing up for a chick? It's more than just cracking out of an egg as you will see.

Growing up is hard. Being an adult is even harder, especially for young pullets and cockerels. They have to make their places between the older more experienced chickens, and each other. They have to decide who is the subordinate, and who is the leader.

Have fun seeing the pictures and updates of the chicks. The updates will keep going into the chicks adulthood, and beyond! The updates will get better as I gain experience writing the life of these six chicks and their adventures.

Yesterday the chicks hatched, and today they seem to be getting happier and stronger! Silkie crosses are adorable!! Chickadee is a proud mother hen!
