It's the same idea you had pretty much!

I moved my incubator into the upstairs bathroom, it's warm up there. Couldn't get the temp back up steady downstairs this morning after adding the eggs late last night.

It's cooling down, last time I used it was mid summer and easy to keep right on. Hoping for the best!

Also I didn't know and I drew an x on one side of the egg (for turning) with a sharpie marker. After doing more research on hatching eggs I read to only use a pencil not a marker because there are toxins in markers that can kill the egg. So I hope the egg will still hatch!

I used sharpies on my first batch of shipped eggs, it didn’t seem to affect them. Even after being lost in the mail for 6 full days, on top of the regular 2 days of shipping, 19 of 36 eBay eggs hatched and thrived. I’m not saying keep doing it, but even if you lost a few, I think most will be ok.

Also I just noticed you both have gem names ruby and lapis! Ive recently been watching Steven Universe, and they all have gem names, so when I see your names, my brain connects it to the cartoon.

I just looked it up, I didn’t play that tree of tranquility, I gave up on harvest moon after a few bad ones. I love star dew valley tho.
