i want to make a home made waterer but i cant get any of those screw in nipples is thier something else that works just as good

Is there a reason why you can't get the screw in nipples?

becase it would be a harder to get them insted of makeing something like it

It seems to me that it would be a challenge to make a water nipple for less than the cost of buying one.

it is retared that 1 kit cost $15 and i just dont want to mess with that stuff

also 1 nipple for 15 dollars *** that is bull i rather make a huge system insted

You need to shop around. I have great success with the "push in" type. Much easier then the screw ins, personally. Just drill a 3/8" hole in PVC and push in the grommet then the nipple. Never leaked for me. Although I ripped the grommet because I drilled to small a hole.

$1.28 each, order a few, helps to offset shipping. Stay away from kits and premade stuff. These are to easy to use.
