DH brought home a box of chicks from Tractor Supply in May. Have four roos now. This poor soul keeps getting beaten upon. He just wants a quiet place to live his life.. doesn't want any trouble and doesn't molest the girls; just keeps to himself...

Have only heard him crow once.

Any takers? No 'Soup Pot' futures, please..

Edit.. working on photos. Tho' as I said.. he's homely. Thanks for the advice guys.

Also have a golden seabright.. purchased as a chick in the same batch.
This one has attitude. Also timid around people, but will beat up my Old English (affectionately called The Chicken Hawk). Seabright's a smooth talker with the ladies, makes his move quick and is gone before they know what happened.

Crows a lot.

Photo doesn't do him justice. He's a handsome bird.
