LOL I would be selling eggs if any of them were still laying eggs we have had to buy store bought eggs for three weeks

They are getting 14hrs of light a day but most are only 1 month out from a hard molt and the really good layers my delawares and leghorn are pretty much featherless

I can't wait till next spring when that beautiful egg basket becomes reality

I will be sure to have my mom take a few pictures of the eggs

I am thinking about a third one if I get the money soon.

OH MY! My D'uucle sign is amazing! Thank you so much! Now I can't wait to get enough money for my next sign

I need three total for all three of my coops. I LOVE how it even looks 3-D with the tail coming up over the letters and behind the letters down at the feet

. Terrific job! Can't wait to get it now

We are in the process of building a barn. In the spring when it is stained and done I would like a sign for it. Would you still be interested in making signs then? Or will you be out of board?

Hanginwitmypeeps, it's gonna take a couple more days to get your sign out. My hubby, the framer, has come down with the most aweful stomach flu I have ever seen. Luckily, it's only a 24 hour one. We were in the ER all day yesterday and he's in recover now. We thought for sure his appendix was enflamed it was so bad. Anyways, hopefully tomorrow he'll be back to normal.

Mustbelosingit, we have plenty of board now and my dad as well as other family members have their eyes peeled for me. There are some pretty old buildings buried in the weeds around here. Many times the farmers just want it dismantled and they think it's pretty neat you can use that stuff and not just throw it on the burn pile

Im can paint lovely barns as well... so if anyone wants a painting of their old barn, I think that would be a neat, folkey peice of art to have.

That is wonderful, thank you! And I'm sorry your hubby is sick. I've heard horror stories about the stomach bug going around this year, the only blessing is it is short lived.

Last summer I thought I was coming down w/ a stomach bug that one of the girls in the office was out with, turns out it was my appendix! A few days in the hospital and I was good as new just sore. Honestly I think a 24 hour bug would have been better, but either way I would have lost a few pounds!

Oh I hope your hubby is ok. My FIL just came home from the hospital yesterday; had been in since New Year's day with the flu. He's 85 so they were especially worried, but it is definitely a nasty bug.

I've been watching this post for a while, and I have to tell you again how beautiful your work is. I definitely want one, am just waiting to figure out what to put on it. Getting lots of ideas from the others that you've done - you are very talented!

That is totally fine with me! Just hope your hubby is ok. My coop isn't quite done yet anyhow and than I have to paint it and it takes the paint three days to dry since it's oil based. So just take your time
