Homemade "cure" needed....daughter has a wart on her foot.....

Apple cider viniger. Get a cotton ball or tissue. ball it up soak it with APV hold it on the wart with duct tape. Keep it on for 3 days. replace it with new every day. It pickles the wart. I just used it on my finger. gone in 2 days. Just peels right off. On the foot is tuff. Just keep replacing it till the wart is gone. If you let it get too big, they can be a huge pain in the butt.

Thanks everybody!! Who needs Google!? I'm going to go with the aspirin and ACV mix (wetting the aspirin with it) along with the duct tape........you should've seen her face when her dad told her it was a wart

And THANKS!!

I totally agree with the Apple Cider Vinegar! My daughter was getting warts on her fingers about a year ago and I was told by a friend about this remedy. I was extremely doubtful but was pressured by my daughter to try it. To my surprise, it worked! It takes a bit, and multi-daily applications, but works great without using hard chemicals!

Most of the people in my family use the salicylic acid and duct tape method. I've had a couple and they gross me out so I go to my dermatologist and have them frozen off. Yes, I am a wuss.

When I had a wart on the bottom of my foot. My great great aunt said to use lemon juice. I put juice on a bandaid and left it there all night. Putting a new one on in the morning and leaving it all day. When it started to look like it was breaking apart. I dug the rest of it out.

I used apple cider vinegar on warts on my hands and plantar warts that didn't go away with freezing from the doctor once a month or OTC stuff.

Plantars warts can be hard to get rid of because the roots can get pretty deep. I had one that would not go away no matter what I did....but after walking barefoot in the sand during the summer it went away for good!! I read on one of those home remedy sites that it worked for a few other people too.

But I'm a huge believer in ACV. I would soak the wart in it (I submerged in a bowl) 2 times a day if you could, and then I would dip a q-tip in ACV and take the "fuzz" off and put it on the wart, and then secure it with a bandaid overnight. And then file it if you can. Mine were gone for good in a week.

My oldest son is plagued by warts. He picked them up at the gym swimming pool. We tried everything, even having them frozen off at the doctors office. The first wart came back in a half moon shape around the frozen area.

Out of desperation we tried Grapefruit Seed Extract. I don't know why we tried it. Two times a day, a big glob on a bandaid put on the wart. After three or four days, his skin was so irritated, red, and itchy he couldn't take it anymore. So we quit. But that darn thing went away right after that! Now when one shows up we do the same thing and it has worked every time!

I think it is the irritation that causes the body to attack what it thinks is causing it...JMO though.

I was hoping I could share my remedy with someone. Now I don't know how well it will work on the foot warts, but it did what acid and freezing could not on my childs hand warts. And so simple-rub the inside of a banana peel on the wart atleast 2 times a day until it goes away.I think it took about 2 weeks for the hand warts to go away. They got super red at first, but was not painful for my then 4yo. I had tried the tape,TTO,all OTC medications. Was just about to do doctor removal(cut off!) when I gave the banana a try.

I am currently on my first week with this treatment with my own foot wart.Noticed it and figured what the hey since I eat 2 bananas a day.It looks like it is going away. Will update if it does.Years ago I came across a woman whose dh had facial warts, and I recommended the banana. She was so happy to report weeks later that his face has cleared up.I told doctors we see but I highly doubt they ever recommend this for their patients.

Try one remedy at a time so you can see which one did the trick! Lol, I also remember trying fresh pressed garlic and the grapeseed extract too. Both were painful for my dd so we did not use them for long. They might have worked if we stuck it out,but poor thing already went through so much OTC treatments I did not have the heart to cause her more pain.I am thankful the banana treatment worked.Only wish I had tried it first!
