I don’t tell them lol. They didn't go for the dry dog food so I'm going to try wet. The ingredients are very similar. That is very funny that you feed chicken to you chickens![]()

Hehe I love to give my ducks treats. They are my babies so I definitely do spoil them a bit too much. Even when I have food for them they get lots of fresh fruits and veggies, multigrain oats, flax and chia seeds, worms, and plenty of other creepy crawlies. I am terrified of bugs but still love searching for worms for them because of how happy they get!!After reading this thread, I think your ducks will be fine till their food arrives. What's more, I think they might be spoiled when their food gets there!Hopefully they'll not be super picky ducks and still eat their food even with all those yummy treats!
I have never tried the pasta, but now I definitely will. Would cooked white rice be good as well? I always love trying new treats with them because they really do love to eat anything and everything! My ducks eat anything and everything I give (paying attention to what's not good and what is) mine love cooked pasta and if I make pasta salad or spaghetti they go crazy over it. I give them 2 day leftovers that don't get eaten and that's pretty much anything. If I make salad I make sure to give a couple handfuls (with spring mix lettuce cucumbers tomatoes sunflower kernels lunch meat {if it's chef salad} ) If you have any frozen veggies in your freezer or canned veggies they'll eats those.
I don't give mine anything that's more than 2 days leftover. I know cooked pasta doesn't have a whole lot of nutrients but I always make sure there's fruit and veggies of some kind given at the same time.
I'm not really sure about the rice. I have given some once before but my 4 chickens (cooped with my pekins) got to it and ate it like it was the best thing they've ever had. So I'm not sure my ducks got more than just a taste of it.I have never tried the pasta, but now I definitely will. Would cooked white rice be good as well? Okay thanks, I gave them 2 today and I will give them more before bed.Give them hard boiled eggs including the shell. This will hold them for a while. Plus all the normal veg.
You can put it in a bag and break it up with a hammer if the pieces are too big.Is dry Dog and Cat food ok for an 8 week old duckling ?
