Homemade Feeder and Waterer....

After reading through many posts on this site, I decided to incoporate some ideas and came up with these cheap homemade feeder and waterer buckets!
Thanks to all of you for providing such insight - this site rocks. Anyways, here they are.

Feeder and waterer with a pulley system to raise as they grown.

I was a little skeptical about the waterer but shortly after I put the girls in for the night, I saw them huddled around it, drinking away, a real comfort! Thanks again to all of you.

Nice idea. Do they try to perch on the buckets, thus tipping them over and spilling food and especially water? Or if the buckets are heavy enough, successfully perching up there and pooping inside he buckets? If so, you might consider putting an up-side-down funnel, bleach bottle, something on the rope so they cannot get to the top of the bucket to perch.
