Homemade Incubator and First Hatch Pictures-UPDATE: HE WON 3RD!

Thanks so much for all of the kind comments! It has been a fun and nerve-racking project. I can't tell you how many nights I have laid in bed praying, "Lord, just please let something hatch and don't let us kill them all... he will be so disappointed if nothing hatches!"

Update... chick #5 has hatched completely. I am a bit confused though and have to research. Both chicks are supposed to be Dominique buuuut... one chick is yellow and the other chick is black...hmmmmmmm.

Update... My son won 3rd place for his class. Two chicks hatched today... one at the science fair so we had one with a bloodring, one that did not form... both of these were culled at day 14, 5 have hatched and are chirping as we speak. 5 have not done anything. We are on day 21.
