Homemade incubator problem

It heats up to whatever tempurature the dial is set at, which is very hard to find 99.5. But then it doesn't turn back on! What do I do?

so let me get this straight ur incubator is getting set to the right tempreture then turning off well they is probably something wrong with ur heater u might need to get a new one

Okay so that problem is fixed. The new problem is it shuts off/on or flickers if it is bumped or walked near. Loose connection?

well I know that cd players do it a lot so maybe stay away from it unless ur checking ur eggs if it starts flickering then just start it again and leave it going again
