I collected eggs for 2 weeks then set them all at once. Turn the eggs several times a day while being stored. Some people do staggered hatches like your suggesting with success. I personally like to have them same time for raising the humidity last three days.No these are not ordered eggs, I've got a breeding pair of Chukars and this is my first season and am just trying to figure everything out before they do start laying. Im sure its coming soon so Im trying to gather as much info as possible. So it sounds like the best bet would be to mark the eggs with the date, and place them in the incubator as theyre collected? Thanks for the input
The way you're suggesting sounds like the best way to do it and the way that I would prefer, but the only issue is that I don't have a cool basement or anywhere similar to store them. If I understand correctly, the eggs need to be stored at about 55 degrees F until they are placed in the incubator, is that correct?
