This is the only place I have found to buy them new:

Click on the brochure link for prices.

I have a few extras I can sell for $20 plus shipping. They are about 4 3/4" long. Compact with great heat. Great for incubators, hatchers, and brooder boxes. We will be starting construction on our hatcher tomorrow. I'll post pix when we're finished.

WOW!!
looks great!
I think you should enter the contest also

Love the cone heater!!

I am thinking the cone heater might be a good idea when you are looking for heat for your birds but not light.

Hey, I just got back from auction and bought 11dz brown hatching eggs. Just a mix. But are very nice looking eggs where gathered this morring.
We will set them to night.

Can someone let me know if the vents are the right size. I have two on the top at 1 1/2inch half open, and two on the bottom the same size and half open. It is sucking air in from the top and pushing it out the bottom. This is my first one to build so I realy dont know.
Thanks

I would enjoy more pic's....thermostat? placement of? more pic's of turning mechanism....why that size? weight of unit? hatch rate?
