does anyone have a homemade pigeon feed recipe? I'm just wondering and thinking of feeding them a homemade diet because our closest feed store is 30 away and like an hour with traffic.

Most major convienent stores carry wild bird seed n chicken scratch feed (some add rabbit pellets), but I've found pigeons can be fed budgie/grass "parakeet" feed, getting poops sometimes. dandilion leaves help every diet immensely. special dove feeds help maybe, and although many state pigeons straight seed eaters, they actually also love bugs fruit berries bakery beans n peas especially great also n rice pasta n leafy greens. I've seen my free flying one mix of rescues group had, loved chasing bugs round n eating ants and flies etc.
