Homemade water and feed receptacles...

I am getting some two week old chicks and I would like to improvise a waterer and feeder with stuff I can find around the house. Any ideas?

I have made all my feeders and waters because the ones from TSC are junk and don't work well. I have used old platic or glass jars with various types of trays. What do you have to work with and maybe I can help. For the brooder I used peanut butter jars.
