Homer pigeon ?

That's very exciting! I saw 2 of mine billing/kissing last week so I got some plastic eggs, nest bowls and tobacco stems. How about some more photos of your couples and babies? Which cockbird won the Bekaert hen? ... the **shole or the good guy?:lol:

The a-hole cock bird paired up with her, and I would guess maybe because the other cock bird had previously been paired up with a hen I lost, and he always sits in the aviary by myself presumably looking for his mate, and he did take interest to the new hen but he wasn't as vigorous about it as the other single cock bird that had never been paired up. I now have one single adult cock bird, and one single squeaker cock bird, so I am hoping things even out soon with breeding.

I took this pic the other day, I think all of my birds are in the pic. You can see two squabs in the nest box second to the top, on the right hand side. My Bekaert hen is in the nest box below that, she is the only splash in my loft. She is now sitting on eggs.
