Homeschool family here

What a small world, ay?? I live about 3.5 hours from Billings, near Helena. I was born and raised and love it here. Although, I'm over the -30 temps...and I think mother nature is finally giving us a break. Supposed to be up to 30 above today! T-shirt weather, ahaha.

That is quite a jump from Montana to Florida!

Both Hubby and I were born in Florida, but my parents moved out there and we followed for jobs. Our oldest was born there but has medical issues so we moved back to florida after a few years for doctors and more family. We both love Montana and felt more at home there than anywhere else we have lived. I hate the heat...lol

That's great that you've got family around. I'm sure the medical is far superior to ours. Best of luck to your family. Maybe you'll get back here someday! I'm not sure I could deal with the bugs...or the hurricanes.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Here is BYC lesson #1: if you bought your Ameraucanas from TSC, they are Easter Eggers! :p You'll still likely get colored eggs though. I love mine!

It doesnt really mater to us, just wanted some colorful eggs but I wonder why they mislabel them? I would love to get some silkies one day, I think they are so cute :)

Welcome to BYC! I was homeschooled myself. :p

I was going to tell you the same thing about your birds. They mislabel them for marketing reasons. Oftentimes they deliberately misspell the name so they can get away with it with things like "Americana". Kinda like how "free range" eggs are often still raised in massive buildings, just with a pop door to a bare pen that's too small. Marketing is a monster. :p
