Has anyone here started garden seedlings yet? I might start my tomatoes and peppers this weekend
I started my cold hardy plants last week (chard and some herbs, marigolds) I am 5b, so have a bit of a wait.

We are 5b normally look at planting first week of May. Sounds like you and I are on the same plan. What zone are you?
I'm 4b and we are looking at an early spring. Average last frost here is may 15th so I want to be ready with real healthy plants by then
Ok soapbox time for me if all I need is an opinion. . Lol
I think the government should back off a bit and let small homesteaders like us group together and hold our own farmers market without all the dumb regulations of a big store. Just the small group I work with could feed a small community if we didn't have to come up with fees and stuff . I have 8 dozen eggs a week, seriously that's a lot for my family. Another family has enough pork to feed a large church group. Beef , fruits, vegetables you name it. One of us grows or raises it. I'm not trying to get rich I just want to not go broke helping those who need it.
Ok I'm finished.
I have soil and seeds i might start them this week in milk containers and a few other plant containers I already have and keep them in my spare room that I have my incubator running. I don't have a glow light, will that affect im in zone 7Has anyone here started garden seedlings yet? I might start my tomatoes and peppers this weekend
That would be nice, but not likely to happen unless its a group of friends that understand our perspective.Ok soapbox time for me if all I need is an opinion. . Lol

Without a grow light right above the seedlings they are likely to become "leggy" as the "reach" for light.
