We're going away for three weeks in may/june and I'm trying to get things in the ground before we go. Do you think they'd grow a great deal in three weeks so I couldn't add more soil to the top when I get back?

I had some Pink brandywine seeds leftover and they're coming up so I guess I'll be trying them again.I have to agree with Beekissed about the Brandywines. I grew them for the first time last year and they are all that Beekissed says. They have quickly become my favorite tomato, and I plan to plant them again this year.
Later.....OOPS! Didn't realize I was a couple of pages behind. See what happens when you don't check in for 24 hours...LOL

I'm starting to get a bit irritated about spring. I want to plant things and get more chicks and build my cow area . However I can not do any of that until life thaws out.. I started my garden, then it froze. I got 12 new chicks now I need more. I have the plans drawn up for the cow area I even have the start of my materials, but it's flipping freezing out and with the ground hard I can't dig for posts.
So I'm stuck watching seeds spring paper towels in my kitchen. Grrrr Mother nature please give us warmth I need my veggies.
