Getting back into chickens after 30 years. What are the necessaries must have on hand before bringing chicks home. Recommended starter foods, med etc....thanks

Welcome to Backyard chickens. The Learning Center makes a great refresher course, and the various forums can handle most of your other questions. I always think it is good to join your state thread and ask the locals what breeds are best, what type of coop stands up to weather extremes, where the feed stores are etc. etc. Best to ask people who know and deal with it every day.

Just put state name in search box and it will pop up for you.
