I have no chickens yet. I haven't chosen a breed yet. My main goal is to get eggs, but I need the chickens to be quiet and kid-friendly too.

My other hobbies are gardening, raising rabbits, aquaponics, dance, yoga, painting, sewing, cooking, etc.

I have a husband, son, 3 rabbits, and a dog.

My friend recommended BYC. I'm hoping to learn more from you!

I am looking to re-home my speckles Sussex and bantam Silkie due to moving.

I have seven of the speckled Sussex.
They are almost egg laying ready... as they ought to lay during the winter.

Also there are a quieter breed and friendly.
