Homosexual, Confused Duck?

I have a Blue Runner Drake that is a little confused. He has attached himself to my Standard Cochin roo and will let the roo mate him. I am very sure that this is a drake - hoarse voice, curled tail feathers. He's the only duck in the pen.

Has anybody else had this to happen? Weirdest/funniest thing I've seen in a while.

You want to holler - "Wrong species, wrong sex, buddy!"

ETA: He will also "groom" the cochin roo. He'll run his bill through his feathers and nuzzle up to him. And forbid if another chicken gets near him!

Do you think he'll actually know what to do with the girls since he, ummm, plays the female role?
