Honey Do Projects

We are expecting a big snow storm tomorrow. It's the South so a little out of the ordinary event. I am worried about our 7 ducks. Their duck coop (4' x 6') is fine for the night but they don't really use it during the day except to lay eggs. There is also a little child's playhouse that has been converted into a mini shelter but only 2 or 3 of them can fit in it at a time.

So hubby spent his Saturday making my ducks a little lean-to shelter so they can get out of the wind and snow. It is 5' long x 3' deep x 3' tall. Made from materials that we had left over from other projects....

So I ask you fellas what YOU have done for your SO on this Valentines weekend?

Nice, so far, I made DH wonton soup, and we had Tin roof ice cream for desert.

My sweetheart has let me keep my duck recovering from an illness in our bathroom for the last week, so he is exempt from all Valentine's obligations. Perhaps permanently. Lol.

All that work that my hubby did yesterday and my ducks refuse to use it... They are all huddled in the corner of their yard with the snow coming down heavily... With the wind chill it is currently 5 degrees.

I don't understand why they don't either go into their coop or inside one of the shelters. They are going to freeze to death.
