Honey the supermarket duckling

I haven't been on for a while. Work very busy as I work for the NHS. Anyway Honey and the girls are good and they always welcome we home with a loud quack 😄

Cool! I also managed to hatch 2 of 4 fertilised eggs out of 6 from Waitrose. Both are drakes too. I think Clarence Court confirmed with me they are an Aylesbury cross, so mixed with something. They're quite massive.

They seem to have figured out where the food is stored.
Yes they are huge, very heavy, meaty and so soft. I picked Honey up the other day for a cuddle, he was lovely, but I did get covered in goodness knows what 😆

I'm glad you found out they are Aylesbury mix x

Totally out of context but I photographed this hedgehog in my mums garden
Am guessing you live in the UK or Europe?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Honey is still going strong, along with cayugas Pickle and Treacle. Honey won't let the cockerel anywhere near his mum and still hangs out with her at times!:D

I've been so busy in work. I work in health care and life has been covid, covid and more covid!😒 and flu jabs. Starting a new job in Monday with a lot less stress 🙂. Honey also makes sure his mum is safe in her coop at night. He is so funny 🤣. We also have a new family member, although she nowhere near the chickens and ducks, her name us Zoya and she is snowy owl.
