I thought of Pilgrim but since you just don't see them that much I just couldn't get it through my head someone would dump off a Pilgrim goose at some ones house.Mismarked male pilgrim? They will have some grey by their tails and flights, but a poorly marked one could have spots anywhere.
Quote: Pilgrim or cottonpatch was my first thought too, but usually they are more colorful. Honky's head looks like my embden goslings too.
Embden are nibblers as babies, so I think his biting will pass.
My chinese will still bite and flog strangers, so I have a warning sign up.
Thank you! I LOVE themI love to see mine when they are eating ff it's usually all around their bills especially my gander.
Yours are Embden jchny2000? sure are prettyThey are hatchery, sadly, but I don't show, they are just pets. I have 17 geese, 8 white chinese, one brown chinese, 4 embden and 4 african.![]()
They freely roam my 5 acres during the day and are cooped/penned at night.
Chinese were my dads fathers day gift, the brown chinese (MaMa WeeWee) and the new babies are mine.
Dad has always had geese, so when we moved them here with us, I got him a new flock![]()
Quote: For some reason my post didn't show, but I just LOVE your girl!![]()
Quote: Their eyes have turned blue finally too. I love the little head tilts when I talk to them, they talk back and look so serious, then tilt their heads like waiting for an answer![]()
