My sister in law and the kids were up here from florida for christmas. She called me last night with questions about cold and chickens. When they went home, they decided to get chickens!

They now have 4 and the kids love them and hold them all the time. Just wait, the number will grow.

I'm going to introduce her to this web site.

Great! I've been encouraging chicken ownership to some friends as well, only not to my egg customers. That would be like cutting off my nose to spite my face.

Now that bad yard flocks are becoming more accepted in many towns there's really no reason not to have chickens (or at least that's what I tell all my friends who are worried about egg prices and what's in their food).
