Orchid woke up and decided to try and find Crystal. She went to the warren to pick up her scent and followed it.

She followed it until she almost bumped into her, "Oops, I'm sorry," she said. Then she added, "And I'm really sorry for how I acted earlier. I must have gotten trapped in a dream... again." She spoke quietly, so as not to alert the coyotes nearby of their presence, mostly because Silver was there.

"Okay, be careful," she said and then licked him.

"I will "he said before licking her back and exiting the den .

Orchid woke up and decided to try and find Crystal. She went to the warren to pick up her scent and followed it.

"Oh ok , goodbye " well I guess she's busy " he said and then started bringing the water back .

"Would I now?" Sliver grunted.

"Yes, you would. She is sweet and fun, everything you are not. In fact, I think she's the perfect mate for you!" Fenrir said. Genuinely believing it.

Amber paused in the trees, overhearing what the Alpha had said. Any trust or hope she had in him being different...different from what, she couldn't remember, vanished.

Amber looked down at the ground sadly, then snapped her head up. Who was she, letting the words of another, of an Alpha of all things, get to her. She was Amber, and no one got to her. She was cold and unfeeling. She relished in seeing others suffer. She-Amber stopped when she felt Orchid bump into her. She turned around. "How are you?" Amber asked, forcing a smile
