****HOOOWWOOOooooo**** ~ Awesome Coyote RP ~

Amber paused on the hilltop and looked down at the valley below. Golden light filtered through the lush greenery. A large waterfall spilled over the edge of another hill, falling into a river that snaked through the area. Amber could see a herd of deer in the distance. She felt a small smile spread across her face. She had so many memories...Amber almost forgot that Jasper was there. Remembering his presence, she looked up. "Right," Amber said briskly. "You want to go hunting?" She stood tall, her fur catching the rays of sunshine.
"Sure," Jasper said, wagging his tail his breath hitched at the beauty. (he was looking at Amber). His blue fur catching rays of the sun as well and his eyes reflecting the light.

Amber nodded and turned swiftly, making her way down the hillside with agility. Amber's heart pounded. This coyote was...she didn't know what it was, but she didn't hate this coyote like most. He's very handsome...said a tiny voice inside of her, but Amber scoffed at it. She was a strong, smart coyote. Amber didn't need love. She could provide for herself. But why was it she still felt so...empty? Amber shook herself and continued to make her way down the steep hill untill she reached the bottom.

Jasper followed her, keeping pace easily thinking about how beautiful she was the whole time.

Amber turned back to him. "Alright. Do you see that deer over there? He's large, but you can tell by the way he walks that he's getting old and will be easy to take." Amber eyed the deer again. "He also has a lot of meat on him."

Finally taking his eyes off Amber, Jasper looked at the large deer, he would be a good meal he decided. He nodded to Amber and crouched low. "He looks like a good meal."

Amber nodded. "Now, I'll go for the killing bite. You being larger - no offense," Amber added hastily, "It would be great if you could attack him from the side and pull him down. Any objections?" Amber looked at Jasper with a sort of determined calm in her eyes.

"No, none," Jasper said and stalked over to the deer, careful to not give away his presence. Once in position he leapt and forced the deer over with his weight and body strength, while biting the shoulder.

Amber bunched her muscles and lept, her teeth sinking into the deer's throat. She could feel it struggling, but, thanks to Jasper, it was going down fast. Soon, she felt its body grow still.

Jasper stood and shook himself, forgetting there was another coyote there for a second he tore a chunk off the shoulder and began eating it, then he remembered that she was there and that he could get in trouble if she were to tell them and stood quickly, backing away from the piece.

Amber raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Instead, she began to pull it back to camp. While her stomach growled and she dearly wanted to eat, this time Amber couldn't help thinking of her cousins and the others back at camp who were probably hungry.
