Jasper stood, "I'm going to the stream for a drink," he said and licked her. He headed for the stream, watching intently just in case he spotted a nice meal for the pack.

Jasper made it to the stream without seeing anything and lapped up some water. He smelled bear, deer and wolf but nothing close enough to go after or worry about. He made his way back to the den and cuddled up next to Amber, falling asleep.
