Scar awoke to his throat burning and ran to the steam for some water, he stood there lapping up some water and felt better . Scar walked towards the shallow water and saw kiro ," hi kiro ! " He said cheerfully with a big smile across his face .

Kiro turned. ”Oh, hi, Scar.” he said and turned back to the water

Kiro growled as he recalled the memory. ”It was just recently. Ruby and I had just recently become mates. She awoke early in the morning and went for a stroll. But as she made her way to this stream, she came upon Ice, I guess. I don't know the exact details, but Ice demanded Ruby become his mate. Ruby, brave coyote she is, refused. Ice lost his temper and bit into her leg, hurting her badly. She cried out for help and I awoke from my sleep to her cries. I attacked Ice, and told him to stay away from Ruby - she's been staying in our den right now while she’s healing. But I doubt Ice is finished.”

Scar stood there listening , shocked by what he heard , " oh my ..I'm so sorry , is ruby ok now ? " He asked , ice had always been an awful coyote but this took the cake .( I'm just assuming he's always been mean )

”I hope she’s okay.” Kiro sighed. ”She just seems so tired and worn at some points, and then happy the next.” Kiro shrugged. ”How about you?”
