Kiro nodded and trotted forward, stopping at the edge of a clearing. "I'll herd the deer over, if you like," He suggested

Kiro inspected the deer and finally chose a large buck with a slight limp to it. He snuck behind it then let out a loud bark, startling it. The deer began to run, and Kiro herded towards where Ruby hid.

Ruby waited until exactly the right moment and leaped, sinking her teeth into the buck's neck. He ran a little ways, trying to throw her off...but she held on! Finally he got tired, and Ruby was able to make the final kill bite.
