"Orchid," the small coyote replied in a small voice. Still unsure of what to do so she stayed in a submitting position.
 
Crystal stared without seeing. She could hear a voice, but she couldn't make the connection as to who it was.

Amber nudged Crystal again. "Are you alright? I'm going to get you some food." She started off towards the food pile but decided to catch a rabbit instead. She was about to pounce on one when she felt her hackles raise. Spinning around, she found herself face to face with a grizzly bear. "Why are there so many bears all of a sudden!?" Amber yelled. The grizzly rose onto its hind legs to investigate Amber some more. Then, for no apparent reason, he brought back his paw and swiped at Amber, missing his target and hitting her in the legs instead of the body. Amber went flying and felt her head hit a rock. She was relieved to see the grizzly amble off, but soon the pain flooded her skull, then a wave of dizziness washed over her. Slowly, Amber saw her vision closing in until all that was left was a faint pinprick of light. Then even that vanished, and everything went black.
 
Orchid wasn't sure what to do. The coyote, Silver, seemed to hate her but it seemed that there where two coyotes defending her. She started to rise, but at a snails pace.
 
Fenrir woke up with a start. Something was wrong. Amber wasn't in the den! He ran out and ran to Loki, ignoring the newcomer. "Have you seen Amber?" He asked. Why did she always have to be getting into trouble?!
