Crystal opened her eyes. She was lying on the ground outside of a den. Amber's den, if she remembered correctly. I wonder why they pushed me out...no matter. I'm sure everyone has their reasons. Crystal thought in her usual sweet demeanor. Crystal tried to sit up, but the throbbing in her shoulder made her stop. She was parched and desperately needed water, yet she couldn't get to the stream. Sighing miserably, Crystal stared into the sky.

Once again, Crystal tried to speak, but, once again, she couldn't reply. She let out a loud gasp and panted, hoping that would be enough for Scar to understand she needed water.

Scar thinks back to this morning , he needed water so she must need some too , " I'll get you some water " scar says and trotted off to find a turtle shell for water
