Jasper scoffed, "I would've heard something as well Amber, I have unusually good hearing." He didn't lift his head but turned it toward her. His eyes were full of hurt and sadness. The tear streaks were already drying on his blue fur.

Fenrir trotted around camp, unsure of what to do. His mate was sleeping and he didn't want to disturb her so he trotted off to a nearby hill and fell asleep watching the stars, thinking about his future pups and what he was going to name them.

Angel was half asleep in her den. She winced and closed her eyes. She didn't know why she was in pain. The pups weren't do for a while, yet!

Jasper sighed and laid down but couldn't sleep. Seeing that he couldnt he went to a very special place and fell asleep.

Amber silently crept up to Jasper’s den and dropped a large rabbit she’d caught on the entrance floor, her way of showing she liked him. Then she turned and disappeared into the dark of night.
