Ice felt his heart soften, even though he was trying to keep it hard. "Uhhhh, well. It's hard for me to say this, but I'm sorry that I hurt Ruby and did all that mean stuff to you and her. I know that she's your mate, and I'll leave you alone...." he stopped, unsure if he should go on or not.
