I agree with the other posts. They need time to adjust. Chickens stress pretty easily. Any changes in their lives can throw them off. Chickens are creatures of habit and like routine.

i know it dont look neat & tidy but hey, im a newbie & maybe in 12mths, expand my family a little and invest in a bigger shed. i have the room for it but unfortunatly not the cash!!!

quick question, how do you stop them making a mess with their water drinker? its one that looks like a bell which has a saucer thats constantly filled

Mine always poop in the water, you can get drinkers that you hang so they can not poop and knock it over, this is a good site...www.chicken-house.co.uk

ive caught the bug!!! went to pick up another 2 this morning but the farm had run out of them. should be in next week.
