Well yeah, they're a hatchery mix, not a rare landrace. They're not going to be able to charge very much for them if they want to sell more than a few dozen

They look quite similar but the males obviously not. At least for me.

Well they arrived Friday and are doing well. No D O A which is nice. 1 has a red head and 1 has colors similar to an americana chick so we shall see how they turn out. The other 23 are fairly uniform black chick's with some minor imperfections which i expected in a mix breed. If anyone is interested I can post pictures later

Please remind me - did you get sexed or straight run?

I was hoping to grab a Mystic Onyx and other Hoover breeds this year from my TSC (had a wishlist and everything), but it seems they switched suppliers

They were sexed but we shall see what I get though. I suspect 2 are roosters one is the red face chick in some of the pictures. There was one oddball chick also pictured here and the rest look similar to the solid black chick. There is alot of size variation in the chicks which is interesting.
