Picked uup some eggs today to put in my incubator but they are pretty dirty , should i wash them up first or will that harm them? This is only my second time and the first wasnt very successful . 3 out of 18 so I thought I would give it another try.Any help is very appreciated.

keep water off eggs, a little dirt won't hurt, but you can scrape it.

what kind of incubator did you use? it is also good to open up the unhatched so you can describe what they looked like then we can help more. If the last batch was wet and gooey, use less water this time.

it was just a small one from tractor supply. The ones that hatched were fine ok i will try to scrap some of it off and start them tomorrow. The ones that didnt make it the last time were fully developed but there was alot of liquid inside.
