Beautiful girls!!!!!!! The ones waving !!!!!! And the chickens are cute!

I was thinking Old english on the black ones, but it's hard to tell on the comb. Is it a regular comb? I've got an oeg black hen. I'll have to go look. I know on my silver duckwing the comb is easy to distinguish.

But I am interested in the waterer also. Seems everyone is. That is a great design! I hope they sell them up there, so I can pick some up.

I have yet to get with the "chicken man" on where he got that waterer. Dang gone weather has been too COLD to move around too much up here!
I have looked around some of the farm supply shops up here and only find the round floor model waterers...might be able to make up a holder for them...I really like being able to keep the water off the floor of the coop.

We were all chicken novices at one time. Thanks for looking into the waterer. I've never seen one like that as all I've found online or in the stores were the round ones you are speaking of.

Really, I just use those rubber dishes that you can pop ice chunks out of, but a wall one would be nice to just have around! Wonder if cat and dog waterers come in such shapes.

I talked to Jerry today about the waterer. He told me that he got them at Orschlens right after they changed over from Big Blue Store. They were listed as pig feeders/waterers. Not sure if for weaning hogs or not but im sure they wouldnt be too big of a pig since the size of the waterer is small. He said he wasnt sure if they still carry them for it was about 5 yrs ago when he bought them....I know that doesnt help at all but ill run by the store later this week and see if they can even still get them.
