Hello, everyone. I am writing from Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, VA. I am hoping to help a grieving neighborhood duck, who lost its male Pekin partner to a dog attack.

Glad to meet you. You have a kind heart to help the neighborhood duck who is grieving. I am so sorry for your loss and that sad duck, as well. You might try the duck forum and you might also try Buy/Sell/Trade/Swap, and be sure and note in both your location, so folks know how far is likely to work for a duck-sale/gift. You can also look on your local Craigslist, where sometimes, animals are listed for sale or trade. Also check animal shelters, which sometimes have ducks, at least around here.
