Hoping I am in the wrong forum? Eggs without shells?

You probably got a double yolk, most likely due to her double laying. But she's laying a normal 1 egg a day now? that's good
Looks like she laid her big double on Monday, took a day off Tuesday and another huge double today.

No more without shells. I just hope she is OK inside. She has always seemed so nervous compared to her sister. Here first day with us she looked at me when I came to check on them, turned around, went to the furthest point at the back of the brooder, and RAN as fast as she could, and jumped thru the bars of the cage and into my lap! (I was squatting in front talking to them).

Well at least she's only laying one egg...

Unfortunately the doubles can still lead to production and health issues later on too. But personally I'd rather see a double with a shell then repeat shell-less .

Im still thinking and praying for your girl that she gets a handle on laying. Fortunatly she is young

Man! Just when I was starting to think that she was working out her egg issues - this morning there was another shell-less egg :( Outside the fact that she had started laying in the Corral with the goats instead of in the Hen House - she had been laying one normal sized, blue egg each day. This morning, when cleaning out the coop, under the roost where LittleBit slept was very little poop and one shell-less egg.
