Hoping I am right on this guess!! Pullet?

Sorry....thick legs mean roo. :oops: Looks like a sweet little guy at least. I'd still wait a bit to confirm just in case, if you're planning on making any important decisions...

I am learning so much. I will wait before making any decisions. I hatched 4 eggs, and as of right now 3 of them are Roos, the odds haven't been in my favor.
 
I've hatched roughly 50 eggs, and red always has meant cockerel, even if the comb and wattles are small. If the comb is fairly big but no color, you've still got a chance it's a pullet. I'm even seeing pointy neck feathers, so I'm positive it's a cockerel.

For your sake I HOPE I'm wrong, and I have been before. He's beautiful.

Just curious what age does a pullet's comb typically turn red? I will wait until they are 12-15 weeks, to cofirm.
