Hoping this is a hen

she is so much bigger than my other hens. Can someone help me decide if this is a rooster or a hen?

Most definitely a cockerel. If he's around 10 weeks, look at his tail for emerging curved sickle feathers, and that will put the cherry on top.

I was afraid you would say that! Do you think I should post a couple closer pictures or are you pretty certain it’s a rooster?

They will be 20 weeks this Sunday. THe feathers appear to be rounds and not pointy and that’s what made me think it could still be a hen??

There is NO doubt that is a cockerel... Saddle feathers DON'T lie and I can see them on your boy.

Lets have a good shot of his tail. There should be sickle feathers shooting out at 20 weeks. I can see pointy saddle feathers. Look back near his tail.
