I agree with sour -- it looks rather masculine.
(And blind -- goodness, how do those things eat with all that fluff in their eyes?)

I knew a beautiful silkie boy who got his eye picked out in an overcrowded feed store when he was a baby- poor thing was already Half blind before he had a chance to experience “true silkie sight”

he lived a long and fulfilling life with a loving family and lived for 7 years. The sweetest rooster I ever knew. Loved to be held, cared for, and talked to you. His name was Becky (thought to be female) and you couldn’t get enough of him!

From what I can tell looks to be a boy, but too early to tell. Please post a clear close up of head in profile and head on of comb. This one is still pretty young. You can trim the feathers around the eyes a bit to help with vision. I do this on both my silkies and polish.

I’m still on the fence with this one! Glad you can keep him or her either way, I think it’s going to take some more time to determine gender for sure. He or she is not an obvious cockerel. Those aren’t major streamers at this age I had a pullet who had those as well at the same age. I guess wait and see and you will know eventually!
