Leg color does not coincide with egg color this is an agricultural myth. Probably a coincidence in your birds case.

So i got a male from a friend of mine. He was a Crele rooster and a cross, himself.

Father - Laced Wyandotte x Easter Egger, Crele color
Mother(s) - Pure white Ameraucana x Father or White&Gold Ameraucana (EE?) x Father

Both hens laid blue eggs.
