I have plenty of brooders and nursery coops. I have no clue why I dreamed that dream. LOL

It's sure not humorous when you first wake up!!

I think it says where your mind's been. Were you thinking about the chicks that evening/before bed? Sometimes dreams have origins I can't determine, but often there's something that nudges them into being. Even sounds as I'm going to sleep, or am asleep.

Thankfully you are completely prepared; it was probably a stress dream.

Let us know when the new babies hatch!

I have buff orps, blue/black/splash orps, appleyard ducks and guineas in the bator with embdens and turkeys going in. Eggs seasonj\\ for everything but the chickens is getting close to the end and I have to hatch now if I want to raise stock to breed for eggs next year. It is just a busy time trying to get it all in before heat sets in and shipping eggs is not such a good idea.

I had one one night that I was a chick trying to hatch and I couldn't get out. When I woke up my legs were tangled up in the quilt LOL

Wow! I feel for you MissPrissy. When my first set of eggs this year were only a few days from hatching my DD's cat had just had her kittens, just found out I was supposed to be cooling down and spritzing my goose eggs, worried about the 2 duck eggs in the bator, and a friend of mine had just told me she had a pet bunny for my classroom..... I had the strangest dream (I usually don't remember what I dream) that I had chicks, kittens, bunnies, and puppies (?) hatching in my incubator and they were all escaping and I couldn't catch all of them and they were all over the room and it was quite alarming..... I guess maybe I was a feeling a little overrun with babies.....

My husband went ou and got us our RIR's promising to build a coop "soon"

No coop yet. i don't nag.

Go in to wake him up he's freaking out and yelling.

He had a dream that giant chickens were attacking him.

He's building the coop this week.
