hornets!!!!!

is it ok for my chickens to eat hornets I have seen them do this and I am worried that it might hurt them.

Chickens have been foraging for food for thousands of years. If eating hornets would kill them, they'd already be dead.

I doubt that anyone has actually researched the question of whether or not hornets are acceptable chicken food, but in cases like this it's best to go with common sense. Have your chickens been harmed so far? If not, let them have fun.

They could get stung, but if they haven't and the hornets haven't prevented themselves from being eaten, then I wouldn't worry about it.
