Horrible and no sign of entry or exit

Update: Hubbs had the traps out last night and the deer cam up. He walked outside at 9:30 to look around.... And what did he find in the tree next to the coop??? A coon waiting patiently. It's with great pleasure I can say, that particular coon will NOT be back!! Deer cam pics showed he was walking around the coop right before climbing up the tree.

Find where he got in, or another one will. They can squeeze under a fence where you wouldn't think they could.

so sorry! I'm new to raising chickens too (as of the end of March) and we thought we had a fort knox as well but have had to add some smaller gauge mesh and other modifications once the chickens were in the coop - they never do what we think they're gonna do!

Sounds like you just need to close up the 2" gap and hopefully that should take care of the problem.
