So glad that you, your human family and your fowl family are OK! As far as stress altering the egg laying process, I'm not sure how that works. Our girls have only stopped laying for a long period of time when they were broody or molting. We've had a few near-misses with hawks, but no stress like yours. I wonder how it will play out. Hopefully someone has experience with stressful situations and will offer information.
Thanks everyone! I've done a quick repair on the coop and run, and now working on the shed. We are contemplating taking this opportunity to build a new coop. We'll see!
