horror movies too scary or gross and you didn't like

I have never seen Motel Hell but I remember other people talking about it. I have also seen clips about it.

That was gross and stupid at the same time. I was about 17 when I saw that movie. Basket Case.

I second that! I've started one several times on both this forum and the older one! I'd be interested to see how many fans we have now. I LOVE the show, but I was sad to see the 9th season go down hill so badly. IMO, they should have ended it with eight! The second movie was a disappointment too!

After I saw Alien I couldn't walk down the hall unless the light was on for months (still can't sometimes). The part where the guy is in the pipes and the gigantic alien no one saw coming pops out and kills him really got to me. Ick. I was expecting the tiny squid-type thing.

I watched a few of the Saw movies but they didn't bother me much.

I think it's the 'something jumps out at you' movies that really scare me.

I saw almost all of Silence of the Lambs, not counting the last half hour and didn't find it even remotely scary. Not sure if the last 30 mintues would have made an improvement in my judgement.

I thought of another one:

Pet Sematary 1 and 2. Heck...throw 3 in there if there is one cuz I ain't watching it!

Nobody else thought "Dawn of the Dead" was super-freaky?

I didn't think Silence of the Lambs was very scary, but then again it is also one of my favorite movies. The book was written as a thriller, so I'm not sure the movie was supposed to be scary (BTW, if you haven't read the book, you MUST! Wonderful, wonderful book)
