Misty again!

Misty, has had a long journey! Originally, she was in Montana. She wasn't being ridden, and just hung out in the pasture with her one friend Ace. A Horse Trader named Russel Beedy, bought Misty and Ace from the owners, and Trailered Ace, while Misty rode in the back of the truck all the way form Montana to Washington, or so he claims.
The first time I met her, Ace was outside COVERED from head to toe in flies, you could hardly see him. Misty, was in a tiny, dark, cold stall in the very back corner of the bard about a 5 minuet walk away from any other horses. She was complete alone. We brought her out, and she had patches of missing fur, which ended up being ringworm all over her. She was skinny, and malnourished. Russel also claimed that she had been off hay for 3 days, and she was still acting like such a good girl. She was very scared of him, but she was perfect. We bought her, and with lots of love, and work, she is an amazing, fast, talkative, expensive, not fearful mare today!
Me and her gallop at 38+ MPH, and she still has her cow kicking, and threatens to bite, but I know that is because she trusts me enough to say, "Hey, I am afraid if you put that saddle on its gonna hurt, because all the other saddles I rode in used to hurt". She's amazing, I ride her in a Ghost endurance saddle, we trial ride, and gallop in a huge field. Se has come so far, and I have plenty more stories about her journey and there she has become! She's an amazing mare, but still, that is just the long story, short.

Love it 😍

OK, here's my entry for cutest: Komet on the left is Arab/Trakehner, and Fiona on the right is OTTB. Their Vet took this picture after they'd both just had their teeth done and were waking up from anesthetic in their stalls, but feeling ready to go back outside.
I do Eventing with both, although Komet is mostly retired now, at 26-y-old.
